My spiritual journey began quite dramatically with the passing of my dearest cat, which coincided with my first karmic release healing session, an attempt to resolve a toxic situation that had gone on for 3 years then. By the end of 2014, I was retrenched, and many other things came to a close. My life was literally put on reset. People left. I spent 11 months looking deep within and during this time, I experienced what a healer described as “accelerated spiritual advancement”.
I was in the beautiful mountains of Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan where I had flashbacks of a past life and understood why Taiwan always felt like home. The next evening, I put on an abundance meditation and drifted off to sleep. When I woke up, I received a text from my sister about a commissioned painting of our late Mew Mew. All of a sudden, I was able to feel my cat’s presence and her approval of the art piece.
It’s been a never ending self-discovery and healing journey since then. I found myself passing messages between people and their beloved pets as well as assisting in the final journey of their furry friends. Just as I consider it a sacred privilege to be a bridge for people and their loved ones, I also want to help people who are lost or at the crossroads find peace, comfort and clarity through messages from the divine.
Having been both the saint and sinner, I have absolute compassion for those who find themselves struggling, and those who may find it hard to forgive themselves.
About Hart Spa:Ce
The inspiration for "Hart Space" came about due to repeated messages and also a calling to a heart-based service. The name was derived by my Chinese name, “甯” (ning). If you break the word down, you get 宀, 心 and 用.
宀 － house
心 － heart
用 － use
心 － heart
用 － use
For more than 20 years, I used a simpler version of ning 宁 because the proper version just had too many strokes. It was only when I embarked on this journey did I look at my name clearly. In all the healing and channeling work that I do, establishing a rainbow heart-to-heart connection with the person I am serving is the most important step. There is also a story behind this name. My birth name was supposed to be Ee Ling, 玲, but was eventually changed to 伊甯 because my last name needed to have a certain number of strokes. Not a coincidence I'd would say, since I'd spent a huge part of my life struggling with matters of the heart, only to find it the truest compass. I have learned and am still learning to honour it, and it shall always be a channel for God/spirit/universe unconditional love for as long as I live.
The short answer is - heartspace.org and heartspace.com were not available. While many would check up the corporate directory to see if a particular name had been taken up by other businesses, I went to whois. I am Gen Y you see. :)
I was guided to use Hartspace though I initially preferred Heartspace. A quick Google search explained that 'hart' actually meant a male deer, which led to another search for the spirit animal meaning.
"For the native tribes of North America, the deer was a messenger, an animal of power, and a totem representing sensitivity, intuition and gentleness." - Faena
"Deer teaches us to be gentle, to touch the hearts and minds of wounded beings who are in our lives. Don’t push people to change, rather gently nudge them in right direction, with the love that comes from deer. Love and accept people as they are. The balance of true power lays in love and compassion." - Shamanic Journey
Okay, Hart Space then. :)
